The current David Atlas has a long history of educating consumers with over

in the world. Many articles on this site and in other venues such as Rapaport
Magazine, and the Gemmological Association of Hong Kong have published his
writings. David Atlas has been an instructor of appraisers since the mid
1980's and continues in this role today with The
National Association of Jewelry Appraisers as an Associate Director and Chairman of the Ethical Issues
Committee. He has developed the "Certification" written examination
for advanced titles of NAJA membership and grades all the written advancement
examinations taken by members.
